Wow! It smells so expensive. It's like a honeyed silky fruity pulpy rose, super plush natural notes.
 
Amber Aud starts with lemony rose with hints of freshness coming from the citrus notes that are clearly detectable but their uplifting effect can be felt. This is followed a honeyed fruity fig accord which is later joined by a rich sweet floral ylang-ylang note. In the drydown, the rose is joined by saffron and a bright salty ambergris accord.
 
The drydown is rich, textured, sweet, slightly smoky, sensual and luxurious. As if the sparkle of diamonds as someone moves has been captured and turned into a scent. The drydown has been rated as the best part of this perfume.
 
Unlike other similar scents, Amber Aud really wears better when there is warmth around you. In the cold, it feels a little bit straightforward and restrained, while warmer air definitely makes it more nuanced.
